ROAD SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Territory: Central and Western Massachusetts
Under the supervisor of the General Manager, the Sales Representative is to identify, introduce, promote and
sell new and used heavy equipment in an assigned sales territory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Promote, rent and sell the full line of Develon
products and additional product lines as assigned.
- Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to
achieve set management goals.
- Develop new business opportunities, manage and
maintain good customer relations.
- Develop and maintain networking lists, call
reports, lost sales/rental reports to generate management required documentation.
- Prepare and submit purchase orders and quotes for
new, used and rental prospects.
- Complete ongoing required manufacturers’ training
and reporting using computer based programs.
- Knowledge and understanding of competitive industry
equipment.
- Participate in industry related trade shows and
events as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with concentration in sales,
marketing, business administration preferred.
- Minimum one year prior outside sales experience and
knowledge of the construction industry.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
CDL preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel
and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Be a reliable team player.
