FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Heavy Equipment Dealership has a full time opening for a Heavy Equipment Technician.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment
• Effectively communicate mechanical issues and problems to shop management
• Certify parts inventory is adequate to meet repair needs, or report as necessary
• Prepare accurate and complete service reports
• Ability to lift and maneuver required parts and equipment without difficulty
• Perform other work related assignments as required

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must have at least 3+ years experience with diesel equipment, hydraulics and welding
• Strong computer skills necessary to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment problems using manufacturer’s diagnostic tools
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record. Class B CDL preferred
• Candidate will be subject to all required manufacturers certification and training
• Candidate must have their own tools
• Pre-employment and random selection drug screening mandatory
